Principal's Message

Dear Partners in Learning,

As Principal of Emperor Elementary, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another beautiful year.  I know that we all have learned the value and importance of the greetings of hugs and hellos at the gate.  Every single staff member is so excited to meet you, to get to know you, and to support you on this journey.  Emperor Elementary has always had a very clear mission of supporting every student, both academically and emotionally.  We will continue to support your child so they are able to grow academically, stay connected, and also help in any areas of social/emotional development.  Our teachers and staff are excited to return to campus with a continued focus on safety and understanding of all students. We will also promote a learning environment that is engaging for all students, while also developing capable, independent thinkers.

This year, we will continue our focus on the strengths within each student that can be used for leadership and service. Students will also look at the beauty that surrounds us as we learn. The past few years have been a time of transition and change.  We want all students to feel safe in an environment that is consistent and will meet all of their needs. Read alouds will be utilized in order to share how we are all connected and to also examine the skills and strategies that leaders share.

I am honored to serve as your principal of Emperor Elementary School.  It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, staff and students continue their partnership and care for each other.  We all hold the same commitment to our children, and these relationships support both the academic and social development of each child.  Information will be communicated through newsletters, from both myself and teachers. Additionally, you may follow our read alouds on Emperor's YouTube channel.  Please contact me at any time at mruedel@tcusd.net

Sincerely,

Myra Ruedel
